Human evolution is usually told as a pretty straight forward story. Life emerged, species adapted, brains expanded, language arrived, civilisation followed. Clean, linear and comfortable.
But all good stories arrive with interference.
The Stoned Ape Theory suggests that altered states of consciousness may have shaped human evolution. Popularised by Terence McKenna, the idea is controversial. But combined with Paul Stamets' work on fungi, spores, and mycelial resilience, a deeper pattern starts to form.
The catalyst of thought may travel farther than we think, perhaps even across worlds.
Inside La-Br-At, the UFO is not proof.
It is a signal. A symbol of extraterrestrial origins, not just for life but maybe for consciousness itself. Of hidden variables, of the unanswered hovering just beyond the visible frame. Or it's just UFO intervention, implanting consciousness into our species!
Either way, evolution did not end with the modern human.
When the veil slips
Reality becomes larger than the story used to explain it.
La-Br-At Signal:
Sometimes the oldest question is not whether life came from elsewhere.
Sometimes it is whether consciousness was ever local at all.
